<Pony><Cover>Smile Smile Smile Synth Cover (Updated)

Postby the4thImpulse » 04 Apr 2012 01:38

I spent the last few days getting more familiar with some of my synths and vst's and what better way to do it then to a Smile Smile Smile midi! There are five synths in this piece, the lead (which plays Pinkie's voice) is by far the most complicated patch I have ever created in Z3ta+. I really enjoyed making this and hope someone will enjoy listening.

Please tell me what you think of it and also the artwork (Which I created and am quite proud of)

Remeber keep Smiling :D :D :D

The art work is nice, and all the synths, while in their own way are pretty, could use more dimension. They need have some kind of reverb or something cause they kinda sound flat right now.

I'd like the .fxp's/.als/.alc's

I don't use presets, but I'd like to see how they're made.

Thank you, I know what you mean in that they don't take up a lot of space and could use some reverb. I will work on it some more and make it a little more exciting and head filling.

When I am finished with this I could give you the patch files - I used two recordings of my hardware synth, one Z3ta and one Bass-Station, all in Ableton live.

Going to bump this as it has been updated! I made it a lot warmer and gave it some special reverb and delays to give it more depth and space.

This will be the final version tell me what you think :D

I like it, and wish I had some decent critique to give, but the updated version flowed quite nicely.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, it was more a learning experience for me so I wasn't really looking for much crtique. Thank you :D
