Well, basically, i was really rubbish at doing this whole music thing, i didnt know anything about mastering or stereo or all those other fancy terms, so i took a massive break from really trying to write music and spent that time learning stuff instead, then finally i thought, well im gonna try and write something, i wrote a bare average house remix of pumped up kicks, but i was glad i was getting better, then i sat down one night destined to screw about, next thing i knew it was 6am and i had this on my hands
So i wrote a tune in about 10 hours and its possibly one of my best and favourite tunes
Sort of a mix of UK Garage and Dubstep, think Phaeleh vibes.
So Enjoy

Not bad. Not bad at all, although I don't typically listen to this genre, so I can't really give you much in terms of what to work on.

From what I can hear on my headphones, the mix seems like it should be a crisp sounding sounds, but ends up sounding muddy at times. Granted, this pretty much is every musician that can't afford an experienced mastering technician, so instead I'll leave you with this: http://audio.tutsplus.com

Look up some tutorials on mastering, and then give yourself a few hours to listen to your track and see what you can do with it.

I always find when I'm finally able to release a song, I'll typically go back 2 or 3 more times to mix and master it better.

Yeah, i really should put this through a proper spectrum analyzer. A vast majority of my mastering skill is in basic EQing, basic knowledge of compressors etc etc
For mastering, i added a Mix Gel compressor, then Went through Ozone 4 to do some small EQ and volume boost. I suppose im still trying to work out what sounds good as well :p
