<remix> Mazzive - Fluttershy's Plan.

Ello Everypony.

I'm finally "done" with my remix. The only thing it will need, is some configurations so it will be "able" to hear without speakers. But yeah, constructive criticism, tips etc. is the only thing i need.

hmm kind of thin. though 1:12 sounds pretty good. add some bass to fill up some parts of the.... wait...wut??.... well the one in your signature is kind of exactly what i was thinking of. like in the beginning, and stuff. but why do you have 2 different ones...? lol is confused. :P

dubstep. i like it, but i dont know too much about how to make it.

Okay thanks for the tips. I tried to add some bass in the part when fluttershy is singing, but it kinda was getting messed up. And the reason cos i have 2 different ones, is. This is like a Version 2 of it. Because i didn't really like it, so i just made a V2 of it. But thanks for the tips, it means alot for me! :D

What he said. I also think you need to work a bit on your buildups (i.e the fluttershy "you're" part) adding a rising siren squeal, a reverse fx or something to spice it up and get the listeners hyped up over the inevitable dropping of the bass. 1:10 to 1:50 is good. I'm not a huge fan of 0:20-0:50, sounds a bit thin and doesn't really build up to the next section.

Anyway keep at it and an extra brohoof for scandinavia! :D

each portion has some things going for them but a additional melody or hook on the final part, some addition wub for the dubstep portion would help. its a bit plain and doesn't build from each portion. it just needs some additional elements.

I'm no expert but like RandomBlockFilms said Massive makes GREAT STONKING HUGE BASSES so using massive is the "mainstream" (wow I'm tired) way to get mammoth sized synths in your tracks. Another thing is to EQ boost lower frequencies and add a sub-bass. The Sub will fill out the low end in a club environment and the dirty bass will be the headcrusher on top.
I can't seem to explain it better than; More sound in more frequencies makes for bigger Phatter synths. Boost the low end and make a sub I guess...

Okay, so this is what i need to work on?:

- Sub Bass
- More low basses
- More sounds, so it's not boring to hear, fx. Wubs in the background
- Sounds in the vocal, like the "You're" part

Is there anymore? :D
And there's nothing i need to delete, only upgrade and add things or what? :D

As for the critcism: try applying it to the song and work on the track until you feel you can present it again. As for the last part of your post: right now there are many paths the track could take. I think it's better if you work with the general advice you've been given and try to come up with ideas for inprovement yourself for now. Do some critical listening and see what you can come up with.
Post the track later when you've worked on it. :)
