<Pony><Remix> Shadow of a Flower, Liquid DnB remix

We totally don't have enough remixes of this
I decided to remix it into something more relaxed and smooth. Thanks to Stormwolf for the samples and the midi, which made remixing this easy-mode. Feedback appreciated!

Nice remix, the mixdown and some synths could use a bit work and tweaking but otherwise it is very liquid ;-)

Okay, let's do this!

The snare sounds a bit lo-fi. try raising frequencies 8kHz-10kHz a little bit. Also the snare could use a bit more punch. A little narrow boost at 200Hz and 3kHz usually does the job, but that depends on the snare sample.
Your Hi-Hats should be louder. This is important because in DnB you can hide the fact that your synths are a bit muffled with hi hats.
Another thing I'm missings is Filterautomation on the drums. It's allways nice to fade in the drums with a high pass filter and for parts like the one that starts at 1:47 a halfway opened low pass filter creates a nice effect.
Your synths sound a bit dry and static to me. try working with a flanger or a phaser and use a looooong reverb to make it sound more dreamy.

that's all that comes to my mind right now. If you have further questions you can add me on skype (my name: addicting.noise). Please keep in mind that I'm not a professional musician or sound designer (not a professional english-speaker, too^^) and that I taught most of the stuff I know to myself ;-)
