<Original><Pony><AMAZING> Ashes Blowing Through Ponyville

Put this song on and relax. This is the greatest and most calm piece ever in the history of mankind. Inspired heavily by World of Goo.

Okay, fuck all the edits I made, and here's the facts- it was made from a modified version of Rain Rain Windy Windy from World of Goo (AMAZING GAME) which was me fooling around with paulstretch and a VST named Ambience. Much easier this way. Technically, it's a remix that was made from World of Goo, but just because it has an amazing soundtrack.

Either way, song is awesome.

This is lovely. Is this a microsound piece (ie paulstretch) by chance? I've done some of that in the past and this reminds me a bit of that technique with all your comments.

Lemme know if you need any help uploading this to youtube. I've got 15+ cap unlocked so no issues there. I'd be happy to do that and link it back to you.

Anyway, yeah. It is paulstretch, how'd you guess?

Okay, now I've managed to go and laugh so hard at my stupidity. I forgot which file was the original, derp. Probably something from World of Goo that was modified in Adobe Audition (made it slower with an ambience layer) and then through paulstretch. It was an experiment that I fell in love with.

It's Rain Rain Windy Windy, I recognized it from the first notes :p
@CGEyeGuy : download the full World of Goo soundtrack. Then buy the game, because it's a true piece of art. It really is.

Ah, that's the one. I was thinking maybe Screamer, but yeah. It's Rain Rain Windy Windy.

Either way, it was a fun test that came out to be a pony song.

EDIT: Either way, there's no real source code.

yeah i've done a few releases with paulstretch. such an awesome program. i just love how it erases beats and makes such beautiful music out of just about anything. once you've done microsound its pretty easy to recognize it.

Just so you know if you wanna try a NEW technique that i found out by accident to keep the durations the same but get similar effects you can take say a 4 min track and then move the track to 30 seconds and then move it back to 4 min and get similar results. I go into detail and have some YT examples in this thread if you are interested.
