I (surprisingly enough) entered this in the ZIQ20 Toast Beard, but I figured it couldn't hurt to post it here as well.

Tell me what you think. I'm already aware of the obvious problems (wrong notes, bad singing, completely screwed up rhythms in places, bass too loud).

OMG mad props for using a Rush tag in there. As a fellow prog rocker, I salute you.

I really like your style. Some pretty sweet leads you got in there. Besides cleaning up the mix a little bit and maybe fixing some of the singing like you mentioned, it sounds awesome to me.

that bass guitar is swag. or at least pretty dayum close to it.

and this song is really good! maybe some fine tuning here and there and this would be really awesome!

yeah just needs a little cleaning up here and there but otherwise is pretty good. a couple too many bad notes on the bass but that's easy enough to re-record in places. acoustic guitar was out of sync 2:30. if that little Rush segway was the only direct riff borrow I'd leave it aside as its a weird transition from the rest.
