I thought that the bass really stood out and could stand to be lowered without ruining the quality of the mixing.
Yeah, I've heard of him and seen some of his works. He's pretty good but I haven't really looked at his tutorials much, since he mostly does stuff with FM synthesis and with other synths I don't have, and it's really easier that I try to master one synth at a time.
Uhhh, I did? The bass and lead aren't one synth? I don't understand what you're trying to tell me here.\
No thanks, but thanks for offering.
I guess I just have a bad time hearing then, I usually listen to music extremely loud, I probably just had my volume down.
The bass was heard, but I guess it's just the way you used it. I usually like the bass when it's pretty much in the open and not in sync with anything.
I see what you're saying, I was just suggesting him since you wanted to change your composition structure a little bit, just thought he might help.
I know the bass and lead are separate synths, What I mean is that the bass pretty much just follows the lead, like I said, It doesn't really have any sort of deviation from the melody of the lead. I know there was modulation, it was clearly heard, but I felt like there wasn't enough modulation for it to be uniquely different from lead.
Okay, the offer still stands, but best of luck finding your new song strategies!
