<Original><Pony> The Timber Wolves

This was the song I did for Toastbeard. I would love to get some feedback on it, since I only got a little bit during Toastbeard.

WOO METAL!
I think the ambient nature of the opening worked well with the thought of the timbre wolves getting us. One problem was that the melody line didn't come in until way late in the song. That may have to do with the time crunch, but I think the song should be much longer.

I was planning to make it longer, but I got really busy and it was for toastbeard and I only had a week to do it. I was going to make a different version after toastbeard, but I have a ton of other things I need to do.

I'm glad you liked the beginning though ^^ I was worried about sour notes when I harmonized so many guitars.

I don't know much about the technical aspects of metal, but I know what I enjoy listening to, and this sounds good to me. Keep it up.

You should definitely consider making a longer version of this when you find time.

Ok, quick notes while listening:

+ Hmmm, I'd like the kick to be less carboard-y and deeper.
+ I think making the guitars louder, or the drums quiter during the tempo change would help. The drums are too present and the guitars not enough so.

Other than that, it sounds good as it is! the guitars definitely don't interfere with each other so much, so I wouldn't worry about that. c:

I seem to be getting this a lot... I think I will make an extended version.

And lo, there was much jubilation.

Honestly, I don't think anything needs to be longer. This song is to the point, and it says what it needs to say without taking up too much of our time.
