While the other Kult is busy with college, Ghelded Kultz lives on! Anyway, song entirely by me, I played that guitar and arranged the components.

Well it's supposed to sorta like progress from dream to nightmare.

Seems really short for post-rock. I feel like you should take your time to develop the textures more to really surprise the listener when the song turns to "nightmare", as you put it. Let them get comfortable in the dream state first, and then shatter their security.

Here's an example, if you need one. Start at 12:20. At about 15:47, The song starts to feed back, creating a sense of imperfection, and then it breaks out into weird, unsettling... fly things? idfk but it's neato burrito.

The reason it's so short is because it was originally supposed to be a grindcore/post-rock fusion (inspired by a joke), having it gradually morph from one to the other, with it's speed digitally manipulated which ultimately would have led it to be closer to 3 minutes, but once I added the lead guitar line that I liked the speed change didn't sound as good anymore, so I left it unchanged, leaving the ending being less extreme and the overall time only being a minute. Anyway, thanks for the advice and link, I'll keep that in mind for future post-rock endevors.
