I really like this so far. The drop is still pretty nice without the wobble you plan to put in, and it still sounds great without the mastering finished. To me It does seem a little long, though, so the middle section does get a bit repetitive after a while, but I do love what you did with the vocals at 4:16 onwards, Overall Good work =)

I'm sure that I've heard the first half of this somewhere else. Hmm... maybe on your Youtube account. I love the sudden Drum 'n' Bass. Definitely keep that in the final version. I have two suggestions:

The wobbles between 1:30 and 2:25 could do with a bit of tweaking, such as adding or omitting a WOB on occasion, here and there. Personally, I found that it became a bit repetitive there.
This idea is abit out-there, but try putting in a Xylophone or Glockenspiel at 2:25 to 2:38 that plays the same as what the synth is doing.

Naw, I have only drum vids and shit on my youtube... this is a WoodenToaster/Glaze track, the first piece of Brony music I ever heard thanks to EQD. I had only seen two episodes of the show, so I thought this was an actual song. Then I talked to WoodenToaster/Glaze and found out it was not... But he still said it was cool to remix (he had the vocal clips and MID file up on Megaupload... So of course =P), and so I've been workin' on it here and there for about a month or two.
As for the 1:30+ wobble, it will be all but gone in the next version. That's pretty much the only part of the song I totally dislike. The trick is to incorporate some of the apeshit dirty noise into the first drop, but still preserve the tune itself... WT/G wrote a lot of cool melodies, so I have plenty to work with.
As for the Drum 'n Bass switchup, I still enjoy that part alot, so that's not goin nowhere. =D
A Xylo/Glock sound would be tight, but if I I use something like that it'll prolly be a Vibraphone... I love the sound of Vibes almost more than the sound of drums, and that's saying ALOT. =P

This piece is wonderful. Keeps me on my toes mostly the entire time, and what you did with Pinkie's vocals is marvelous. I'd love to download this, if that would be possible.

This is really great! A lovely reimagining of Glaze's track, and the vocal editing is suh-weet!

Can't wait for the final product!

Thank you for the kind words, everypony!! I have tried to steer clear of allowing downloads on unfinished tracks, but it's not like anypony is gonna turn around and youtube it just like that, thus sullying my mane (instead of name, as in 'my cred', just made that up... Or at least I think I did =P) and therefore labeling me a half-asser of Pony music =P So I'll enable downloads for the track as long as u all promise two things...
1) Remember Glaze's version and that the initial marvelous editing and melodies were all done by him... Just so the difference between what I did based on what he did is clear, cause I ain't half the vocoder/retuner/melody-man he is =P...
2) Come back for the finished version, and
3) Tell me if you think the kick drum is a little too bass-heavy/powerful... I'm not sure if I like it being the boss like that or if it's too much
