I like the feeling you're going for, and the sound design on the bass is really cool.

I'd work on balancing elements with each other so that they are respectively audible. Take a look at your waveform: you have tons of room to get louder and your drums are peaking wayyy high yo

Also, for the first part with drums before they get louder, I couldn't even tell you had a kick for a while. Make sure you're EQ'ing out ample space for your kick in every other instrument.

i didn't have a kick in that part, i was messing around with ways to bring the drums in.
guess it didn't really work out ;p

At about :33 you start to bring a kick in, and it sounds too faint in the mix

That bass is a preset, isn't it? I heard it a lot in DnB. Anyways, this really dark style you're trying to get is awesome, but if you'd lower the bass by a semitone, it would be a lot better, as it sounds very strange ATM.

yes, it is a preset. i did edit the settings quite a bit, but it is still a based of a preset. the use of the preset was because of my limited knowledge of massive, and it was me trying to learn the basics of it.

i will probably have a new wip sometime today/ tomorow.

I understand what you're talking about. I'm on page 50 of 150 in the Massive manual, and I am definitely months away from actually getting good at it. Welp, at least I got bored enough to find out that it is ridiculously easy to make a snare in Massive. Not like it's better than a sample or so, but I definitely will use Massive to help with the tail of the snare.
