Grats on 100!

This isn't bad. Not bad at all. The main thing I hear are some rhythm issues. I don't know if its your guitar or the vocals, but I've got the feeling that this isn't put together correctly. Like the tracks aren't supposed to be together, but are taken from different songs. I might of course be wrong and you're playing perfectly.

With that said, everything works very well in their own rights. Your riffs are nice and tenacious, the leads are moody without being boring and the accoustic parts work very well. I would love some more punch in the rhythm guitar and perhaps some more interesting drums. Other than that, I think you've got something good going here

Haha yeah i've always had trouble with getting my rhythm tracking really tight, so i basically triple tracked my stuff. I know what you mean though, the vocals are pretty soft in comparison to my backing track, so that might be a little off-pudding :P
The rhythm guitars are exactly how i like them though, not too djent but even though quite heavy. I've been pushing them a lot already in the mid range though, more could make them sound overpowered. As for drums i couldn't agree more, i'm just not very creative with programming and when i get something interesting it usually tends to machine gun, which isn't what i like. So i just tend to keep the crash and snare rhythmic, with the kick on the guitar rhythm :P
Might pick up some midi packs for drums sooner or later though.

Drums can be pretty hard, especially when working with rock and metal. I guess the only advice I can give on that is to just try random stuff. Set up a drumkit and start plonking down stuff at random. Sometimes you strike gold

Kyoga wrote:Apart from what Injustrial said regarding rhythm, the only other thing I would add is that your lead more often than not resolves on non-chord tones. This gives the whole thing a dissonant back tone that really just doesn't work out. =/

apart from that it's still pretty cool. good job.

Haha yeah i know. i've been messing with leads but i'm not really all that good at note placement. I usually just meddle a bit, improvising with whatever i think sounds okay. I should put more time in my leads :I
