That's right, I'm back already with another WIP! This has been the most difficult of the series so far. As it turns out, writing solely in staccato is quite tricky.

Specific things:
1. First things first. Did you enjoy it? It's very strange, I know.
2. Does it convey a sense of dusk? I had a hard time coming up with something that evokes that mood. In general I'm aiming for something like Day but less manic.
3. I haven't fiddled with dynamics yet. I'll get around to it soon.
4. It ends abruptly because I still have about a minute's worth left to write. Any particular inclinations about the direction it should take next? I want the overall feeling to become gradually slower because the next one, Night, will be somewhere around lento speed.
5. The harmony is really repetitive at the moment. I still need to decide how to vary it up some more.
6. Most of the string parts are basically just off-setting beats. I think this adds texture but it may still be too much on the repetitive side. Thoughts?

1. Yes, this is quite lovely to listen to.
2. Well, I honestly felt it had a more bright/sunny mood to it. But there really is no right or wrong answer here.
6. It dose seem to add texture yes. Repetitive? Well yes, but only in a melodic way. You are dealing with inner voices, so it can be very difficult to write something interesting for them.

I want it to be bright/sunny before transitioning into something calmer and more serene so it seems I'm headed in the right direction.
I'll vary it up some and make the parts more interesting. That should do a lot to help.

AWW YEAH ANOTHER WIP.

It's now in a much more complete state. I'd like to have this done before I go out of town on the 9th.

Points 1, 2, 6, and 7 from my original post pretty much still apply. I might still need to mess around with some dynamics.
What do you think of the final measure (the last three notes)? I think it's a little lame but can't figure out what would suit it better.
