I liked the mod bass section, even if you supposedly forgot to remove the highpass on the chords. It gave it a sort of classic 90's acid breaks feel. I think it'd be tight if you kept it as it is.
Guthey wrote:The drums or beat in general could use some change, and by change I mean variation, it only sounds like "1 2, 1 2, 1 2" and so on, which can get kind boring.
Guthey wrote:Lastly, it could use more sounds, from :36 to 1:20 it's pretty much the same thing, and at 1:50 too, seems like the same thing for about 25 seconds. Just variation in general might help, same with the synth or piano at :36-1:20 or maybe just add an underlying synth to back it up, just make sure you save before you start changing things, if you do that is.
Guthey wrote: The lead singer's voice might sound a little better with some vibrato? like at the end of her extended words, like 00:13, 00:18, or when ever she holds a note longer than the others. It might sound like absolute shit, but I'm just visualizing this in my head, which usually sounds better than expected, and because of the vibrato you might have to speed up the overall song a little, just to keep it in pace. JUST an idea, might be a shitty one, but it's an idea. Her voice sounds pretty good with me just listening to it, but yeah, idea. maybe some effects on it? just idea.

Genkar wrote:I would totally be up for this if I were actually the one working with the vocalist, but it's just a vocal string so unless I did some work in newtone (which would probably come out shitty) there's really not much I can do.
