Fits very well as a battle theme, and sounds really good.
I would however prefer it a bit heavier and meatier. Perhaps by adding a few more orchestral instruments, like som brass for example.

This is however just what i feel. If you're not going for the heavy and meaty, then this is reeeeally good.
Amazing job, looking forward for the whole soundtrack!

Perhaps because I don't hear the rest of the music in the game that might provide some context for this piece, I don't think it quite fits... It's just a little bit too epic! Too dramatic! You may have done just too good of a job, is what I suppose I'm trying to say =P

It sounds a little bit more like a boss battle theme, or the music that plays when something genuinely dramatic is happening. For some reason, I feel as thought it might be a bit fatiguing to listen to repeatedly as battle music...

But that's just my own thought/critique. Tone down the epic just a bit! As a piece on its own, it's very impressive.
