<remix><nonpony>In This Moment (Wisp Remix)

So I made this for Ocular's album, and it's the second drum & bass song I've done. Some feedback on how I can improve my drum & bass would be nice :3

Solid DnB you've got here. Nice work. Just a few things:
It feels a little light on the low end. A little more bass would go a long way.
The melody at 0:50 is nice, I just feel hesitant about the synth. Maybe try making that a little more harsh so it will stand out against all the other smooth synths (though, that might sound terrible. I don't know. :P )
Personally, I'd bring down the hi-hats. They're more for keeping pacing rather than being the center of attention.

Overall, it's a solid track. It's a little different from the usual style (Reese bass and chromatic scales), but this works nicely. The main thing I'd recommend you focus on is adding more bass to the tracks (it is called Drum N' BASS afterall, haha).

Keep up the good work!

Yeah, I struggled a lot with adding enough bass to this track. It used to have a lot less bass, but after working on it for a while, I managed to get it up to a reasonable amount of bass. I don't know why I struggled so much with adding bass to this, but for some reason a lot of the bass I tried didn't fit at all. Thanks for the feedback :D
