I tried to make this similar to High Life by Daft Punk. Please tell me what you think.

I"m not expert in French House, but that bass and kick are really muddy. I'd have given them a little bit more in the high frequencies: a click for the kick; opening the filter on the bass a little and using the filter envelope to give it a nice little pluck.

Overall, that was a nice french house track. Keep up the good work!

I do agree with Pulse on the bass. It sounds really muted, and a bit more pluck would bring the funk out a little bit better.

At around the 2:30 mark or so, a guitar riff starts playing that sounds just plin out of tune. What's up with that?

I really don't know. I think the sample was just going out of key so my notes sounded bad with it. I am uploading a new version without the riff and punchier drums... I think.
