Please move this topic if it's in the wrong forum. :?

A small mix-up of "So Many Wonders" and Amnesia's most soothing music.
Inspired by PinkiePieSwears "Flutterwonder". Hope you guys like it! :D

Why only 1 minute??? This makes me sad as it was a very mesmerising mashup!

I can't critique much, considering it's basically two existing songs stuck over each other, but I'm curious if you're going to continue it with, say, the danger music from Amnesia?

Also, if you do and manage to replicate that continuous bell sound in the latter stages of the game, please tell me, I've wasted hours and hours trying to replicate it, only to fail...:P

I agree with you on that. I would very much like to have an extended version, but the vocals on "So many wonders" speed up and change pitch halfway into the song, and it would take very accurate splicing to make it. Secondly, I didn't want to repeat the same vocals over and over again. I feel as though it would eventually bore the listener. :?

That's an idea. Could you show me some examples of other Amnesia tunes on Youtube? (And the bell sound too? I'm not sure I know that sound...)? :P

Just FYI, I've never played Amnesia; I've only watched the LPs. I wouldn't go near that game. The story is really captivating, but the imagery... well, you know. :?

Here's one of the slower 'danger' ones:

Here's an extended version of what you used:

The game is great, such an engrossing game atmospherically! But the bell example I can't give, it only occurs if your sanity is very low in the later levels, so it's not part of the soundtrack...REALLY adds to the 'oh shi- oh shi-' feel at those times though!

I actually originally used the extended version of the Safe Ambience. I took it out because of its irregular looping, but I'm still interested in experimenting with it. :P

The first acapella that came to mind when listening to the Danger tune was "Evil Enchantress". I'll see what I can make out of it. Thanks for showing me the tune. ;)

EDIT: What do you think?

Pretty cool, but I think slicing up the vocals and sticking some weird effects on them would make it far more creepy! :P

All righty then! When I'll have time, I'll see how I can make some more effects (Maybe the Poltergesit effect?). :D

By slicing, do you mean leaving out/muting parts in the middle, for example? :?

So like, taking single words and spacing each one out! That's always creepy...or massively distorting it, so it's more of a buzz! I did that in my "The Night That Never Ended" using an effect called "Convolution!" So, fusing poor Fluttershy with a Gong...creepy!
