So, basically, this is Image to Music based work. I show an image, and a song would be made from the image. (Not literally.) I mean from the inspiration of the image, the emotions it gives off, a song derived from a picture.
So, for this first image album, the deadline will be June 13th. that gives us all a while to compose something nice. I will then personally judge the tracks for quality. The album will be released onto Bandcamp for free. I don't want to make any money from this. seriously
Tracks will be submitted in Wave format because bandcamp likes loss-less files only. Do not release tracks prior to the album being released. On a later date, I will make a submission form, depending on how well interested people are for this. Stay posted
I will check these songs for quality, so submit great music, not a lot of music. Any genre is allowed, but remember to do it based on the image. Songs should be no longer than 12 minutes. Only 3 songs per artists will be accepted into the final version of the album.
So if you submit 5 songs and 4 are good enough to make it here, you would have to pick the 1 that is not going to be here. This is a SFW album, no swearing please.
This does not have to be mlp related in anyway. When the album is released, it won't be released as an mlp associated album. You don't even have to be a brony to be on this album. If the images are mlp related, you don't have to do an mlp song. But, you can if you want to, I will not discriminate against the brony submissions. (bronies are cool :3)
A skype group will be made soon for this. I'll make it once I know that people are interested. It will NOT be a spam skype group. seriously, i have had enough of that with the emforay/arcien group.
