Please Remix This Song {CONTEST}

Hi guys,

As I've mentioned a few times on the forums, I play in a heavy metal group called Ex Curia. This summer (Australian Time), we're going into seclusion to record an album.

However, due to a uni work assignment, my drummer has to create a "Radio Quality" single complete with packaging and professional CD work by the end of session. For that, we have recorded this song (mixing is not quite finished yet):

Gentle Angel is the least metal song we have, but seeing as we've had to purchase album art anyway, we're planning to release an actual EP for this song in conjunction with the album. The EP will include this song, another metal song that doesn't quite make it onto the album, and 2 remixes of Gentle Angel.

That's where you come in. I'm in the process of writing my remix of the song now (current version below), but I'd love if the extra remix was someone from the MLR community. So, i'm proposing a competition: You guys write a remix of this song, and i'll put them all forward to my band. The song (or songs if need be) that we think best compliment the CD will get put on there.

In addition, you'll get full credit for your work, and some form of fiscal reward, all though it may be limited (we are poor uni students after all).

Stems - These vocals are at 140 BPM, and haven't been melodyned or corrected. They were just a rough take by my vocalist so I could get recording. If you'd like a better recording we can probably arrange that.

Yeah, definitely, there is no rush at all. I probably should have set a deadline.

Anyway, I wish you band great luck on recording! Who's producing it? Just your band? I'll probably try and buy it when it is released.

I wish I could remix this but I'd fail probably. A soft trance like dubstep version of this would sound insanely cool, I bet!
