I know that this is a bit off topic for this section of the forum, as I am not actually organizing anything, but I just wanted to get it out there that we are going overboard these. Ever since the original Balloon Party, people have been creating more and more of these parties. It seems to be slowing down now, but we should really just wait until it has been a full year since the release of bp. I have seen talk in othee topics about creating another balloon party spin off album(s), sorta like the pinkamena party or bp after party mix, but new, since both have already been released. Eventually EqD will choose to stop featuring them, and brony musicians will choose to stop joining, and nobody will want to download, even if it does have good music. Just saying...

Umm, there aren't any more parties. Other than Pinakmeana Party, the last one, there are now only unconnected album projects.

Though I will admit, Cowbell Party was pretty good. All the other ones were sort of desperate attempts to jump on the Balloon Party bandwagon or trying to stretch the cowbell party joke, and I really hated those.

On the right track, but a bit specific. Remember, the main premise of Balloon Party was to make your music go really hard. Most people interpreted this as wubwub music, but then Makkon brought out songs like Dregs and the Little Toy Shop. Lavender Harmony brought Arrividerci to the table. I imagine it's better to choose a mood or something as opposed to "make house" or "make orchestral." It reaches out to every artist in the community, not just the ones that make said genre.
