(emphasis mine)
though I'm going to keep it at 2 entries/person while I'm running the dual-themed ZIQ, so you can make 1 entry for both themes if you'd like.
and now a bunch of small quotes:
Interrobang Pie wrote:Without troll entries, Toastbeard would be a little on the boring side, frankly.
yes, that's why I'm not going to flat-out disallow / delete any troll entries, however:
Interrobang Pie wrote:The amount of troll entries is always outnumbered, anyway.
generally, yes. but the ratio of troll:non-troll has become a little low recently. 1:10 is ok, but 4:10 is a bit much (though for the record, these numbers are not pulled from any compo)
Interrobang Pie wrote:And regarding the entry limit, I actually have more of a problem if there are too little entries rather than too many. I don't mind staying up.
even if staying up isn't the problem, remember that you're staying up and listening to a [long] burst of new music.
ERS04 and ERS05 were both nearly 3 hours.
It's fatiguing.
Short and sweet is better.
PinkieGuy wrote:I should point out as well, limiting the number of entries won't necessarily improve quality.
very true. but that still cuts the number of hypothetical troll entries to 2/3rds what we have now.
again: Short and sweet is better. (where "short" is closer to "1.5 hours" than "3 hours")
and also just to answer a question:
BlackElectric wrote:What's a WAT?
WAT is short for Whatevercompo, which is basically "the rules are made up on a page-to-page basis".
