Are the times on the Toast Beard listings PST, EST, GMT or what? I wish it would say somewhere clearly on the site what time zone they're using.

oh whoops, I used to put the time zone in the footer for each compo. I guess that got lost at some point.

but yeah it's all EST.

But time zones are confusing, so I recommend just going by the countdown. :3

So, I noticed those comments on my track...

Why does everyone hate triplets? They're amazing! They turn a boring 4/4 pattern into something cool.

And yes, I did use the default Ableton piano. With no compression or EQ. Or reverb. Oh the shame... ;_;

Next time, I'm making Megatron Vomit dubstep. Just wubs and robotic noise. And triplets. Lots of 8th note triplets. And no default Ableton piano.

You know what? The last time I entered a toastbeard was back in april when I knew absolutely nothing about production. I'm gonna do one of these again, it might actually motivate me to finish a track, god forbid.

I never get my songs done fast AT ALL. And now I have my song done with 5 days to go. wat.

Welp, time to nitpick over mixing that'll probably come out bad anyways. YAY.

This, all of it, completely.

I was feeling pretty down considering I sent the vocals to someone to be mixed down. :(
until I saw a couple of comments, but this kinda stood out.

Ssssssay there sci, I have a request/suggestion (requestion?) for the TB homepage: adding a column that lists the theme for each TB next to its official name. It'd make looking through the archives for past entries a lot more efficient, and efficiency is the name of the game!

Maybe you'd be better off mixin' it up yourself! Another pony said you had some good stuff. Post more, nothin' wrong with rap-beard! And I say that as the progrock/electric/acousticpony doing stuff that's probably the least raplike of anypony.

Good to hear you and don't give up! :D
