(I associate "street" with "funk". apparently this isn't as common as I thought. but yeah this is pretty open to fun interpretations so I'm looking forward to it!)

Sure, I'll totally enter this haha! I just have to say "shutup" when I tell myself it's getting annoyingly repetitive.
And it makes me sad that I'll end up doing almost my best for this. :/

I am submitting for the WAT. Have some repetitive acoustic guitar chords (major) in 4/4 with a rap about money over it.

Is Toast Beard ok? I know people are hopefully waiting for Season 3 to start before come back to it but it seems to be really drying up lately. Out of sight, out of mind. :(

Hope it comes back like a phoenix in November

in my case, I've been pretty busy with juggling school and my own personal projects.

I'm pretty sure zorg's also in the busy-with-school boat, and I wouldn't be surprised if the same goes for almost everyone else.

basically I'm not too worried.

this was, in fact, the second shortest sync we've had for a weekual compo!

in my case, I've been a bit busy with school are very particular as to how I spent my spare time.
I guess I'm not alone in that regard?

So the next theme went from Nightmare Night to Rarity's taxes back to Nightmare Night?

I think learning to do electronic music is taking too long, and i'm not making any music, so I decided to do a song on guitar in the meantime. I'm not planning on entering a toastbeard yet, but it would be helpful to have a subject for this guitar song. Could someone tell me one of the good toastbeard descriptions for me to work off of?

Pirate Ponies
Ponies and Video Games
The Genrerator WATs
A season 2 character meets a season 1 character. What happens?
The current theme: Nightmare Night
"Idols" - implied artist emulation
A theme song for a background pony

But for me, my favorite Toastbeards are the ones that run during a season. The reason for this is that aside from the primary theme, you are also allowed to do an episode response. Hell, I once made a whole album based around one episode in a single week, so I know for a fact these hold the highest inspiration for me. My point in this last little paragraph is that if a theme doesn't do it for you, write about an episode of Ponies.

Thought I'd pop in and let you know, Sci, that this week's theme is baller, though I probably can't do a song for it. Good choice.

This week I'm trying out a new method for writing. I drew what is essentially a storyboard for the theme and am going to try and base my song off the images. Let's see how this works out.

ok, no lie, this was a wreck. ponychat.net decided to basically split into 2 just as the sync started, and everything else was just a bit bumpy. Sorry about that :\

HOWEVER, THE SYNC WAS LITERALLY TWICE AS LONG AS THE PREVIOUS. so there's that!

here's what you missed:

stable words: http://pastebin.com/HmxhcV4H

and from there it's....I don't know yet. We'll definitely do something though, what with S3 starting.

Hey sci, what if we did an episode response compo to Double Rainboom then package all the quality tracks together into an album? Perhaps it could be two weeks instead of one for a special occasion? We would also spread the word so it would be more popular than a normal TB.
