Hello. I'm holding a little contest, and it's called:



THE GAME:
How this works is, you give instructions to a person on how you want them to make a song.
The twist is... You'll send those instructions to me through PM! Why? Because they are going to get shuffled up! And instructions to making your song are assigned to others. (Members won't be revealed until the result stage.)

POINTS:
The one that did your mission, You're going to listen to their remix and then assign points to that remixer.
How many points you can go to? You can go up to 10 points (I don't mind your score being at a decimal).
Also, You may have to give feedback on what they might improve on the next time they remix something.

SUBMIT:
Submit all entries on a 3rd party site like Dropbox, Mediafire, anything except for Youtube or Soundcloud, and then PM me links to your entries.

Now would be a time to ask any questions if you want.
Q: Can I remix another brony's work in a mission?
A: Ask for their permission first, If they don't mind, Yes.

Q: Why do we need to assign points, in decimals?
A: Check the spoiler at your own risk...

Q: Can we assign a genre in our missions?
A: No. Because anyone may not have any experience with the genre you might assign.

Q: Can we use pony samples?
A: Meh, I don't mind either way.

Q: Can the mission be remixing our songs?
A: That is completely up to you.

Q: Do we have to put a note in the mission?
A: As i recall, That is completely optional, you don't have to put a note in the instructions.

Q: What's the BPM range?
A: Not slower than 60 BPM, Not faster than 250 BPM.

Q: What about the length?
A: Minimum is 2 minutes, The maximum is 7 minutes. Please don't make the exact length that you want in your instructions.

Q: Can we allow any extra instructions like speed changes, octaves, and effects to one's song?
A: Again, anyone might not have that experience to do stuff like this so, no.

Q: How much time do we get to make our songs?
A: I will tell you once the event starts.

Yes. The Song Name is recommended. The mood setting is literally the title. Doesn't matter what title you designate.

My song is complete and I'm super eager to share it. Are we allowed to upload ahead of time? I know it doesn't really outright say we can't in the rules but it's vague enough that I'm hesitant to do so. By the way, if the mission time range has only a single number (3), can I interpret that as 3 or more or does it have to be around 3?

Hey, it's not always good getting 120 BPM. Personally I hated having to write a song that invoked the feeling of flight at such a slow tempo. As for getting done early, I always write my stuff quickly. I just do several hour sessions and then edit it over the next few days.
Hey, at least you didn't get my mission with the 170 BPM 7/8 or the OH GOD WHY 13/16 time signature mission :P

4 minutes is close enough... I hope... *crosses fingers*
Edit: I've decided that since I haven't submitted yet I'm gonna take a bit more time to work on it, hopefully I'll create a cut down version for the contest and the Youtube version will be the extended version :D
