Well, I my project file exploded because it was too hard. Then, I was like, "I'll just submit what I have", yet uploading wouldn't work for me, so, oh well.
But, I assure you, it was harder than all of your tracks combined.

Just a quick question; would this be considered 'hard' enough for this? I signed up ages ago, but never actually got a track in. I'm doing this for another compilation album, but I feel it might work here too. I'm aware it's being released on the 4th, and I'll be polishing it off tomorrow, but I'm not too fussed if it's too late. Just wondering.

Just really quickly; yes, the guitars are real. Drums are programmed along with pretty much everything else. It isn't properly EQ'd. The vocals haven't been recorded yet, so I'll likely release it as an instrumental for now. There's a story behind this, which you can look over below (I'd prefer you to read it before listening, as it gives the song and its sporadic changes more meaning and context). It is non-pony.

http://soundcloud.com/glitchhog/white-cords-sensory-1

"The idea behind it is pretty personal to me, but it's basically about a guy who is trapped in day-to-day routine and desperately wants to escape. His relationships are falling out around him, he's depressed and, during office hours, he stares out of the window at the mountains and imagines himself on the highway driving away to nowhere. 'White Cords' (headphone cables) is a reference to myself in school, in which I'd use my iPod as an escape from everything (and the earbuds being the 'sensory deprivation plugs'). Later in the song, time skips ahead to the past year, in which I was still 'finding myself'. The more tranquil sections of the song represent me when I cut myself off from the reality I was in. It was a good state. The harshest segments deal with the reality; school, depression, relationships, doubt and my ex, which was a silently-abusive relationship. The ending segment is something I want to leave up to the listener. They can assume it is a daydream in which the character is looking out his office window at the mountains and the forest, or they can assume it actually happens. The lyrics in the last two lines are: "You won't realize this pain, let's go out and chase the sun" in which he leaves his life behind, is dropped off, and figuratively 'chases the sun', before stopping and realizing that the life he imagined may not be all he thought."

My my aren't you a precious one?

Perhaps look back a page and see that it's delayed until noon CST today? Can't put up a link to something that isn't released yet, and also...you have your ETA right there.

My patience runs too low for people who, for all intents and purposes, seem to have signed up for the sole purpose of harassing the BP topic. Are you even a musician?

We have official pages for BP where you can ask your heart away. Don't do it here please.

Well, I just learned my track didn't make it. Can't say I'm not disappointed, since I wanted to contribute something to this community, and the first time I wanted to be in an album, it didn't cut the mustard.

Question: Should I go ahead and post the track I did or is it made of too much fail for me to even bother?
