That's really more experimental then hardcore. Plus why do you hate elephants so much.... ;)

I don't think mine will make it :c. It's basically legit noise. That's why I gave it such a weird name :3

If your noise is legit as in, the good kind of legit, then I'm p sure that it would work in the album. Noise is cool

So I finally got a good idea for this album, but then when I clicked on it, the first post said deadline was the 15th, just wondering if it was extended? If so I will drink a swimming pools portion of coffee and get a song down in the next day or two.

My song wasn't hardcore enough :( .

I don't have time to try and make drumstep to replace my old entry. School starts tomorrow. Unless the deadline gets moved to mid September, I've got nothing.

I'm finally cracking down on mine right now. Took FOREVER to find a theme I wanted to role with, then another huge chunk of wasted time coming up with ideas that aren't overly generic. I hope I finish it before tomorrow. Quick question, is it due wed night or morning?

Idk why it's so hard to make a legit song that's basically noise and distorted kicks...

well... unless if you want to sound it good, then there's that  but it's still noise right??? >.> (with cowbells of course)

basically it still needs to sound "appealing". making straight noise is pretty simple, and genres like speedcore require a lot of attention to detail in rhythm and sounds used because it's really easy to screw it up and become something that's just nasty. A lot of harder stuff such as speedcore lend themselves from heavy metal and other rock genres, the only real difference being the high BPM and excessive use of harsh synths mixed with sampling.

at least, this is always the way I've thought of it
