NOPE the new deadline is August 22nd. And the album comes out a week from then. Supersaw Hoover saw that so many people weren't finished with their submissions, so he extended it by a week! Get working brahs.

Ok.

I got a really nice buildup going on, and some cool robotic noises. I just need to add drums and the drop.

I have a WIP.

Personally, I don't think it's hard enough for this. But that drop is fucking awesome. So maybe I'll take it elsewhere.

That is one sexy drop. Add some camelcrusher and it would fit in just fine.

It is hard enough? Awesome.

I'm making some huge changes to it though. Not the drop, but the rest of the song. I added piano before the drop. And I added drums between the two drops so it isn't boring.

I don't like the blood from the mouth and cracked eyes of pinkamena. Also, that one part of the surrounding emblem thing that looks broken out is, I feel, too far away. Close that huge gap and remove the blood/eye effects, the rest looks fine.

Also, has the due date been moved back a week?

Yeah i kinda knew all that would be getting thrown out the door.

See, this is the kind of thing that would work well in Balloon Party. Balloon Party was "That Hard," but Pinkamena Party is "like a lot of levels harder than BP dared to tread." We're looking for genres that have -core at the end of the names. We're looking for distorted kicks, high BPMs, and a whole lot of energy. Dubstep just isn't really the right genre for this unless you make something like darkstep and do it really well.

That said, the track isn't bad at all. I like the industrial sounds you used before the drop and stuff. It's just not appropriate for Pinkamena Party >_<

That's ok. Sorry though. This means I won't have a track for Pinkamena Party.

I will be submitting it to EQD once I get a visualizer for it.

Dude, just add some kicks and some distortion then speed it up to at least 300bpm,
If you do this, you'll invent a new fusion genre

Dubcore

I approve of this "dubcore".

Also, I need to finish my song. It's compositionally done but the kicks are being a real bitch.

Pinkie Cake was cool and told me what I could do so I'll work on it when I get back from school.

Impossible. Dubstep is 140, while Hardcore is 180. Crossbreed DnB/Hardcore, obviously is possible, and it hass been done. (Once again, I must refer to Sinister Souls vs Gein vs Bratkilla - Parasite Bandit)

Wait, would something like this be good?

Cuz I might do a Dubstep/Drumstep entry just for the f*ck of it as soon as I fix my computer. XD I only expect like, one of my tracks to get in anyways, I just like making more submissions so I can actually get something done.

Speeding up my dubstep song with ruin the integrity of the song. It will sound like shit. Not to mention, the kicks in my song were supposed to be clean, crisp, and quick. And if I add more Ohmicide to my bass, it will sound like a flabby mess.

So I won't submit my track. Sorry.

You don't need to speed up the whole track. I assume it's 140 bpm (since it's dubstep) so you can just change your drums to some really heavy distorted ones and speed it up to 280 or 560 or 1120 or 2240 :3 And then you get speedcore/extratone.
It works really well, I've made a whole album of dubstep remixed to speedcore.

I never talked to Supersaw about the art of this project. Maybe it was his idea, but I don't like that it's a direct rip-off from Balloon Party, which was kind of a rip-off from Knife Party. What I'm saying that, I don't like that we're using the same Knife Party logo, Pinkamena Party has nothing in common with Knife Party :C

Sure, but you can speed it up between 160 and 200, it still works well
