Don't use the Modern Talking waveform, don't make a lazy song.
Is this a guideline or a rule? I understand if you don't want the album filled with overused and stereotypical yoy's but it can be used as a different sound aswell...

Is there a contest for any kind of music? I can do classical, jazz, contemporany and random things like this.Original Post wrote:2. You guys have fun I'm just a sad orchestra composer that doesn't make techno--
SHUT IT. We need orchestra composers too for awesome hardcore orchestra hits or even full compositions! You have to know how to make your instruments rock the crowd like us. This is a challenge to manipulate your composing style to work like and with the electronic music. Classical instruments can be just as effective as a bass cannon. I think our classical musicians have proven that and can do it again.
Alright let's make some hot tracks! (And don't forget about the charity album for Bronies For Good, either!)

Circuitfry once said that Modern Talking is the Comic Sans of dubstep. It just sounds sub-par compared to alternatives.

Like I said, this style is pretty new to me. General tips on how I can improve will be much appreciated.

North Kozar wrote:To make something "hard," it doesn't necessarily have to sound dark if that's not your thing. Full sounds and a powerful kick (meaning with oomph, not overpowering or anything) generally lead to "hard." Kinda vague, but there's a surprising amount of freedom to make something "hard." I'm not a very good person for general advice, though. If you have questions about something more specific I could try and help.

Interestingly enough, all those percents add up to 120%.......
