How about we let artists make transitions by themselves? This is what I did. Just imagine how awesome it would be: We'd end up with ~10minutes of seamless mix of various genres!
I propose we send stems of our entry to the next artist for him to make a smooth transition and we include previous part in our part so it will contain our added transition. I think it also will be more fun this way!

You can remove part after 0:56 or use it instead of stems, it's just a suggestion of what could be next.

FlicFlac is what I use for FLAC conversions. It's really tiny and very simple; there's no installation, just set it to WAV and drag FLAC files on top of it.

(It's also convenient for MP3 to WAV and a few other things, though WAV to MP3 may require adjusting some settings.)

Sure, using the last person's part to transition into your own is no problem. The "stitching together" is so that we can get a final mix using lossless audio files from all the sources; but we won't have to keep uploading 30, 40, 50, 60+ megabyte files when the project starts getting long. Using the previous section to transition into your own will work fine with that too.

As for the stem thing, I'm fine with people doing that if they want, I'm not sure I want to make it a requirement, though? Ditto for the key thing: this is kinda a chaotic endeavor by its very nature, and I sorta like the freedom there is this way. BUT, I'm certainly amenable to discussion; how does everyone else feel about that?

By the way, sweet addition! You certainly do a good job modelling a smooth transition for us, phaux.

Well, I was quite unsure how long to make this, because the first two were ~30 seconds, so I listened to the first Legend of Discord for help. Since they were all pretty short, my part is too (Also, where's all the awesome vox samples? I hate samples personally and even I put in a Chrysalis piece).

I don't use FL, but I think this can be prevented if you don't sync the audio. At least that's how Ableton works.

FL doesn't screw with the tempo unless you go out of your way to change it.
