Rarity is my assigned waifu?!

I can live with that. Nice artwork. I especially like the wet maned thing about Rarity. Makes it seem sexy and a complete abomination of Christmas. Which is exactly what we should go for.

If sexy is a good theme, then I'll just make house music with dubstep drops. I can kinda mimic Deadmau5 in Massive, I can get some nasty dubstep basses, and I have too many house samples lying around. I'll remember to keep it Christmas-y though.

And since the Brony Syndicate is involved, it must have rap. Do you want to do that, or me, or both of us?

Sounds good.

Rainboom and I are making Christmas house-step rap, so we're already bringing in a hardcore Christmas.

Ummmm....

I only set up the beat for two verses and a chorus. Sorry.

If you're absolutely desperate, I can go back and change it.

Ok. Sorry Camsy.

On a note related to the song, I decided to make Christmas house music for the Rainboom collab. Maybe I'll add a little dubstep there, but I wanted to try house instead. I already have drums. I'm going to sidechain compress every synth and bass to the kicks (which are in 4/4).

One thing I'd like to add is that it will not be a direct remix of All I Want For Christmas is You. Maybe the chord progression will be loosely related, but I will not be putting in the original vocals. However, I will make it Christmas-y by adding sleighbell samples and use recognizable melodies based on other Christmas songs, like Jingle Bells. I'll just make it all house-y.

Even though I already started, I'd say probably not us. I'm trying to achieve quality on this. Really good quality. I also lack some experience in house music. But that's ok because the deadline is far off. I'll try to be 100% Done with the instrumental by October, giving us almost 2 months to record vocals, mix them with the instrunmental, and master the entire thing.

laugh if you will, brony.

For I am gonna ask Alex S. on twitter if he would be cool with his God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen remix being in our abum. Its more likely than you think.

Wait, isn't the point of the album to 'ponify' the songs? Surely having God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen isn't following those guidelines...

Its technically a cover...which does count and follows the guidelines. It's just done in his own style.

Hey Rainboom? I kinda rethought how I wanted to do our collab.

The rap will still be there, don't worry.

I just wanted to make the instrumental part robotic dubstep instead of house music. I've been getting better at dubstep recently, and feel very comfortable making it.

Warning: I'm not taking up the art of skrillex dubstep. When I say robotic, I'm talking Megatron Vomit stuff.

Is this ok with you?

sure. I'll let you do whatever you want with it. Only thing I ask is that keep it close to the original melody and don't get too crazy with it. We're both gonna rap on it, but might wanna sing a bit of the chorus.
