If you go to the "Events" page in the tab at the top of this website, you'll see Rainbow and Rooted. Click it, then at the bottom of the list, hit "participate." Circuitfry probably just hasn't updated the OP.

Ok. Last year with Balloon Party, I didn't participate because of stupid little mess ups I made with when posting songs and teasers was acceptable. This time I'm motivated to participate. So, just to clarify, my understanding is that you first create the song, submit it on here, then you wait and then you'll either get a message from a mod/admin saying "Ok, post a teaser now kthxbai" or you'll scan the forum and when a mod posts that people who have songs can post the first wave, you'll do so.

Or something along those lines. Somebody clarify this for me please, because last year I don't think anybody did after I asked about 2 times.

No no no, I mean, when and how will we be getting permission to post teasers of our songs for R&R? Last year I posted a teaser and I got a message from SonOfaMitch saying to wait until I was told to. So how will I know when to post teasers??

The bassline moving. Or doing something else... that'd be nice imo. It's cool tho.

The bassline is extremely static through the entire piece. For a DnB track, the percussion has pretty much no emphasis throughout the entire thing. The gated stuff is pretty fun to listen to, but it doesn't move either. In fact, the only thing that seems to move at all in the track is the choir. Also, the emphasis for R&R is speedy and stylish. Your song has pretty much no real drive or fast-paced energy, it's all pretty stable and calm. It's not bad, and I'm not the judge, but I don't think it's quite what they're looking for.
