Alright, I'll give that a try then. I already have an idea in mind, too.

Okay, I made some art. I'm not sure if it's up to people's standards, but please tell me what you think of it.

Except for the upper font (lower is fine imo), this is terribly sexy. Love it.

EDIT - nevermind me, fonts are both okay.

It's missing a jungle and the EqH logo.

I decided not to include the EqH logo, just because it wouldn't look good with the rest of the image.

As for the lack of an actual jungle, plenty of jungle album covers had no references to jungles or rainforests, so I don't think that's a real problem. If anything, the cover I made is a tribute to the futuristic artwork of those old albums :)

Hey I'm a little confused. What is the status of this project now? I thought it was cancelled and now its transformed and including more genres? Maybe post in here AND edit on the front page to keep people informed so they can take part!

Where'd you get that idea from? This has been a jungle album from the beginning and it's still one now, and the track submission deadline has already come and gone. It was never cancelled, either. Are you sure you didn't mean to post in a different thread?

This isn't an album anymore. It's become an EP because of the amount of submissions.

You might have been confused about us talking about the ideas for Back to Bass-ics 3, which will be Garage-styled. This EP is still pure Jungle.

It's kind of short because the only decent camera I had was my phone. lol If I didn't feature a track it was because of time restrictions. ^^ However I did throw in my Lavender Town remix at the end for self promotion! :3 Enjoy!

Oh shit, wait... This has absolutely nothing to do with this thread, but I just realised your avatar is from Mirai Nikki. Not bad!

That's what I'm trying to get at as the op never edited his post. If it became an EP that's fine but if this thread is now for a third album then create and maintain a seperate thread for Back to Bass-ics 3 as its not relevent for this one. If you have a thread for an event try to keep it updated (first post and current post) and keep it on-topic or let it naturally die. I'm just saying that a lack of organization is what can harm an event and get people to not partipcate in the first place (and doom it to EP vs album length).

Considering the ep has not been released as of yet this thread is still relevant. I will create a new thread once this one has been released. But as of yet the third one is just an idea.

Speaking of which is there an estimated time of release yet Mallard and/or Nosnibormada?

If everyone's fine with the artwork then all that's left to do is for Mallard to do the vinyl-esque mastering. I don't know how long that'll take him, but once it's done I'm sure he'll just upload the tracks to the bandcamp page and the album will be released.

THEN someone make the Back to Bass-ics 3 thread. Sorry for misunderstanding btw, Freewave.

IT GETS RELEASED WHEN I FIND THE TIME TO MIX IT

which will hopefully be tonight....

got a real all nighter in for me todays

Also, nos! not sure about the "Back to Bassics 2" thing, we should drop that! That was just the name for the dubstep one, it doesn't make sense to make this a SERIES in that sense. OTHERWISE GR8.
