Q: Can I remix Daniel Ingram? Can I remix the show?
A: No. You can only remix another brony remixing the show. We're all tired of Winter Wrap Up.
Q: Can I remix a remix?
A: No. If you like a particular remix, remix the original instead. Remixing a remix blurs who did what and can be confusing. You know what, screw it. Have fun. You can remix anything you like, as long as it was made by another brony, and their original song was pony related.
Q: Who can I remix?
A: Anyone in the community! Participants or not. Just not the show directly.
Q: How many songs can I submit?
A: Maximum of TWO.
Q: I need help, can I ask the person I’m remixing for audio stems or MIDI?
A: Yes you may, but it will still be up to the original author to share these or not. Usually they do. If they don't, complain about it on Tumblr.
Q: Can I remix myself?
A: What the hay is wrong with you? No! Stop fapping in the mirror, Narcissus. Why would you ask that? Friendship! FRIIIIIENNNNNNNDSHIIIIIPPPP. Stop reading those dusty old books and make some friends!
Q: I write metal, 8-bit, hippity-hop music, techno, or something that isn’t dubstep. Can I still participate?
A: YES PLEASE! We WANT people to take songs they like and put it in their own style. Do the kids even like dubstep anymore....?
Q: Can we collab on a remix?
A: I don't even know you. At least take me out for coffee first. OH YOU MEAN COLLABS IN GENERAL. Yes. You can collab with others for one or both of your tracks if you want. You only get two tracks total either way tho.
Q: What are your standards on track content?
A: Look, we're not uptight puritans. We're cool, yo. But we will be filtering for EXCESSIVELY inappropriate content, such as heavy swearing, explicit sexual references, or entries that have little artistic merit. Please remember that this is about the music, not the lulz. If you are unsure about what is appropriate, please post your question in the event thread. And you can always save it for Pinkamena Party.

A: No, this is just a friendly event designed to both get its participants to develop their production skills as well as meet more musicians in the fandom. Have fun!
