So if you have popped into the discussion thread recently, you would know that I have a Minecraft server that I am willing to use as My Little Remix's Minecraft server. The server is a creative server currently, however in the future there will be a second survival world to use. To join add ultrazoid.chickenkiller.com to your servers.

I didn't know there was interest in a mine craft server, I wouldn't have shut down mine then but I am glad there is now ^^

Hey my son is currently mindcraft crazy (watching ytube videos by that british guy every chance he gets) and i may want to get him on this server as he's only got the amazon kindle ver of Mincraft and should see some better worlds. Can he get on this server thru his kindle or do i need to get him a pc version of the game (and where).

Sorry to be ignorant but i just haven't looked into it that much.

You'll need the pc version which you can find at http://www.minecraft.net, as long as you have a legit account you'll be able to download the launcher for free.
You'll need to play at the servers version which is 1.7.9, 1 version behind the normal one.
To do this in the easiest way, you start the launcher (not the actual game, aka start the minecraft application but don't log in) and create a new profile which you set to play at version 1.7.9, this will allow you to switch between profiles by restarting according to your needs.

here's a quick pic i made demonstrating that, I'm using a MAC version as I haven't downloaded minecraft on my PC VM, but it should give you the general guidelines.

A tip is to name your profile in a memorable way according to it's use (such as including 1.7.9 in the name).

The Rarity and Luna one are absolutely exceptional. The Fluttershy one looks a bit funny with the bright yellow background legs and shadowed foreground.
