Whovian Music?

I heard from a prior post that Dr. Who fans were known for their fanbase music. Does anyone have anymore about that fanbase's music scene? Just curious how big that is...

So far, I've heard a few remixes and a couple of mashups, but nothing too dominant.

Aphylliate did a Doctor whooves mashup with the MLP theme. Suffers hard from mixing issues, but a very cool concept

I've been in the Doctor Who Fandom longer than being a brony and I've heard nearly no fandom music... ... ...

Homestuck has some but even that is almost all remixes of album music...

Y'know a friend of my step brother came over once and showed me a couple songs from a band that almost exclusively writes music retelling the plots of Doctor Who episodes in hard rock format. It was pretty cool but I can't remember what they were called for the life of me :/

That was probably Chameleon Circuit, some of their other stuff borders hard rock

Found 30+ songs from the community about Dr Whooves, the most early works are mainly remixes/mashups/covers of Dr Who theme, but then we saw a nice amount of original (and mostly rock-oriented) music from the "whovian" side of the brony community (or is it the brony side of the whovian community ?).

I never really took the time to look at this serie with the correct amount of attention it needs, and 2 months ago i just started to look at the 2005 iteration and just ended watching to all the episodes ~~.

With the recent upcoming of the 8th season of the serie, i dedicated my last podcast about whovian music within the brony fandom, starting with story behind the "Dr Hooves" character, then listed some songs mainly themed for the Dr Who (still from artists linked with the brony fandom) in his human form, not the pony Dr Hooves, and finally some songs linked with other parts of the creative fandom (ask-blogs, specific fanfictions, etc).
I didn't just thrown all of the songs i "gathered" into this podcast, but a good part of them is here. Oh, and i kept most songs pairing Derpy and the Doctor outside of it, for a an other podcast.


Use it as a ressource however you want, even the playlist (in the description) alone could be enough to help some people who are searching for this kind of songs.
Just remembered this topic and thought it would be an ok addition to the discussion, even if the spoken parts are in french it's mostly a selection of 22 artists for 20 songs i would just like to share :
