Was brainstorming today.
I'm a user of the Twoism forums [fan forum for Boards of Canada] and they have this thing called "One on Twoism" where the members of the community compile an album of their best works and release it digitally and physically.
WHAT IF...
We did something similar, but instead set up a Bandcamp with tracks specially made by us. It'll be advertised in all participating channels, so if we get the community involved this can go pretty far.
Donations will be compiled onto a paypal. Over time, as each album comes out with heavy marketing from both our channels and EqD, we utilize the funds to throw a brony-music-con sort of thing. It'll cover the costs of the tickets to and fro for bronyartists to perform, the venue, and the rest can be volunteer work [planning, organizing, setting up, etc].
I think it's very possible, and I'm sure there are many bronies willing to contribute to see their favorite bronyartists perform live [or watch footage].
Thoughts?
