You guys have your hearts in the right place if you're trying to make somebody feel loved, but it's very silly to open up a new thread and do this publicly instead of messaging this person yourself. Unfortunately, not everyone on MLR knows who ASCII is or even that she is Abby. And even more people don't even know what happened haha.

She is not. Nobody here is a failure no matter what anybody says. Screw the world and their skewed view of people. You should care only about what the people who care about you think of you. You should be around accepting people. You should make people feel better when they are feeling depressed.

I looked in Community, I looked in The Official Spam Thread, and I saw the cutiemark post - and I STILL have no idea what happened.

Surely it wasn't just

Guys clearly Abby is not and should not feel like a failure, but these threads which confuse 95% of the board and single out one person aren't really a great idea. By all means she should go to the hugging / venting thread if she needs to talk it out or talk one on one with a friend. Everyone on this board will likely go through a low once a month or so (myself included) but that doesn't mean we should open a new thread everytime that happens or have people do that for us when we're feeling down. Hopefully she realizes that everyone here has her back.
