Deck-A-Dance 2 Released

I know a lot of you guys on here DJ as well as produce, and just as many of us choose our own DAWs, us DJs have a selection of programs as well. I seem to be the only one that uses Deck-A-Dance, but now would be a good time to try with this new version out.

Honestly, from the looks of it, this is quite the upgrade. Way more effects, ability for four decks, Grossbeat (which is one of my favorite effects of all time), programmable envelopes for effects, up to three effects out of ten applicable to a single track, each of which can be applied to different frequencies, and so much more. I'm downloading the demo right now and I can't wait to try it out and see if it's worth the purchase.

What do y'all think about it?
DAW: FL Studio 10, Ableton Live 8

I'm entrenched too deep into Traktor to even consider an alternative xD

But yeah, competition is good. that's prolly the reason why NI did some really good updates to Traktor recently.

Yeah, maybe. I've been thinking about getting Traktor, but it's pretty expensive and I'm so used to the really flexible abilities of DaD to really try it much.

This sounds good. Might take a look at Deck-A-Dance then.
I do gotta say, I tried Traktor once, and I absolutely hate it... Until I find better, VirtualDJ keeps it's first place for me.

Looks to be close to on par with the other top DJ software (specifically Tracktor and VDJ), however I don't imagine many people will be leaving Traktor for this. I know I won't leave Ableton for it or anything else currently on the market.

Well, of course. Ableton is an entirely new level, and probably a different ball field as well. I still use Ableton for more experimental DJing, so... Y'know.
