Rate DJ/Producer mentioned by user above you

Postby ExoBassTix » 12 Apr 2013 08:20

I wondered why there is only one thread like this yet. I need more.

So yea, you rate the DJ/Producer that the person above you mentioned. And then you give next.
Also I'm going to pick a lot of fairly unknown people (still quite known though) to test your skills. I'll add their main genre to help a bit. Idk.

I start.

Sabretooth (primarily produces Psy Trance, but also did Hard Trance and a bit of grimy Dubstep)

I totally respect his decision to leave the Trance scene, and I agree with his arguments.

9/10, such grit, and that bass, so fucking good. Interesting style to say the least, love how grimy it is though.

Not bad. Love that DnB, but it's a bit modern dubsteppy.

Wouldn't really listen to them out of pleasure, but I do enjoy their slow grooves and retro-y vibes.

To me his music sounds more or less like all DnB (my brain does not differentiate DnB songs all that well).

I like the vibe of his music, especially the creepier stuff, which is groovy at the same time. A bit to "noisy" for me though. He gets a free .87 points for being a bass player.

First discovered him when I heard Fabrication and was initially blown away by the talking bass. Unfortunately, his mixes don't seem to have the clarity that other musicians in the same field do. 7/10
