Beyonce Half Time Show

So, as musicians or audio engineers, or just anyone who loves music, what was your opinion on Beyonce at the Super Bowl? TBH, it was just terrible. Absolutely poor production, almost no singing at all, and what singing there was, was all lip syncing. Also that guitar player, just wow, please don't use a wireless mic on your guitar and hook it up to a mixer UNLESS YOUR A DAMN GOOD MIXER.



One last gripe, right before she went into her last song, she switched her mic. What does that tell you?

Well, I'm surprised they had her in for the half time show after her failure at the inauguration. But whatever. I only watch the super bowl for the commercials anyways. But apparently the Ravens are decimating the 49er's

What's the super bowl?

Its where a lot of big people dress in padding and fight over a small ball and then tackle and beat up whoever is holding it at the moment. The person that has it runs away for his life. The Superbowl is where the best beater-uppers/runners gather to face each other in the ultimate tackle fight. It takes place in a giant bowl. The bowl is currently without power.

She actually sang, that was cool! The audio production was lacking, but the performance had a lot of energy; she's got fantastic stage presence.

I thought it was okay. I'm not a big pop fan, anyway, so Beyonce is whatever to me.

I just wish they'd feature more artists.

The set was pretty bitchin' though. Cool stage lights and screens and shit. That was cool.

As an American, I agree. One of the nicest things about living overseas is that I can stop pretending to care at all, even about the commercials.

I have not seen the half time show but just reading the comment sit seems as though people are just hating because of the artists name. Hearing the live tv broadcast of the show will would much different than hearing the stadium's P.A. kicking, too.

I could hear everything just fine. My gripes were with the music and the music only. Beyonce as a person doesn't bother me, she's probably a reasonably nice person. But her music is plain awful.
