Anyway, a few colleagues and I have been putting the finishing touches on an internet radio station intended purely for independent artists. We want showcase the work of artists and innovators who go unnoticed by mainstream media. Independent artists that challenge conventional paradigms of expression are played and promoted in an effort to re-imagine what sound means to the listener.

We're searching for DJs who would like to contribute. Either by using their own music, or putting together the music of others. There are no boundaries. Want to do talk show about farts? Go for it! This stream is an open forum for people to submit anything involving their independent expression.

The site has not launched as of yet, but we need to take this time to accumulate material. Our library at this time is somewhat limited, and we need the assistance of others. You can view the main page by following this link:

Pony-related is a major plus! But really, any kind of music is accepted. The only thing that would really prevent us from playing something is if it's not mixed properly or the quality is really just not up to par, or if it would put us at risk with the DMCA. For the most part, a lot of the music I've seen on this site would be fine.

I just gave your music a quick listen, sounds great. We could definitely use it!

Is there a way of contributeing without haveing to devote time to make an entire show?

We would not expect everyone to quit their day jobs for this. Putting one show together is a fun project, but putting several together can be somewhat difficult and time consuming.

You can contribute by submitting your own music, and our existing DJs can use whatever they see fit as part of a show. Or, if you prefer, you can put together your own show(s) at your own pace whenever you feel like doing so. It's completely up to you!

It's your show. You're the DJ. You have your own time to put together whatever you like. Our shows are slotted for 30 minutes or 60 minutes, so we would ask that you do your best to organize your tracks to reach either of those time-frames. Whatever fits within that time is fair game!

Same here, feel free to host my music. However, keep in mind that most of my stuff isn't very radio-friendly (every single piece of music on YT and SC are over 5 minutes long, some longer than 20 mins).

Based on some of these responses, what I think I'll do is organize a "my little remix" hour. I can compile as much music suitable that's been submitted from this website and make a show out of it.

All the submissions so far are great. LoreRD, your music is somewhat long, but I wouldn't disqualify the prospect of using it. In fact I'd welcome it.

For anyone else interested in this project but not looking to put together their own radio show, send submit your music in this thread for my to refer back to whenever I'm working on a new show. Thanks mates!
