So what does everyone do when they're not making music?

As an attempt to meet some new people; I'd like to know, What does everyone do to keep themselves occupied when they aren't busy writing tunes?


EDIT: Wow! This got to three pages! That's a first! I hope this thread continues to grow.

And after three pages in I remembered that I completely forgot to add my interests in!

I spend a fair time longboarding or on my computer.
Whenever I get some cash, I splurge on spraypaint and I like to do stencil art on canvas and other surfaces. I have a botanist friend, so I am introduced to various herbs and stuff. My current favorite would either be homegrown tobacco or african dream root.

It's basically longboarding and painting things for me.

I don't write pony songs on guitar on account of I have no interface, so... that's a big fat no . I'm saving up for a recording computer (that I'm going to build from scratch), so it'll be a while. I actually do plan to do a guitar cover of Discord by Eurobeat Brony. It's real fun to play. My mic is a Rock Band mic though

Although my band is recording our demo pretty soon. I think on Saturday we are going to do some level testing. We are a band who plays metal covers of video game songs, but we do have Winter Wrap up going on the demo and we have a pony EP planned

It's always good to play a sport. I play tennis to keep in shape, whether it's working or not is beyond me But it's good to get some exercise.

Oh God yes. I have spent an unhealthy amount of time playing that game and its sequel.

When I'm not musicing I'm usually browsing the internet, gaming with friends, or editing their various fanfics. I've also got some cool nature stuff (woods, rivers, mountains) around my house so I go for walks fairly often. Lately I've been getting back into archery a bit too, which isn't really working out too well as a lot of my equipment has fallen into disrepair.

Oh, and I read my fair share of pony fanfiction as well.

Any steam games that you currently play?

It depends on the days. My main game of choice is Killing Floor(you would be shocked with all the stuff I know about this game...) which I took a long break of due to no time for it, and just recently picked it up again. Counter strike 1.6 (don't bother me about the source version...), day of defeat : source, red orchestra, CoD 4 (although I don't play it seriously), terraria(once got 60 hours in two weeks... Which is a lot to me), System Shock 2 (yes, I STILL play this), and anything else I feel like playing in my large library of games... I would've put fallout 3 on here, because I still have some DLC to finish, but I uninstalled that and removed every trace of that pile of shit from my computer earlier today.

Inb4 people asking me why I don't like Fallout 3.

TL;DR (hahahah it's not even long. But people are lazy, so I guess I should do it) I'll play anything I want to as long as I don't hate it. Late replies are cool.

Ooooohhhhh here I come! Give this gem a chance, despite the description. At first glance, it's a generic ship-fic, except the characters are gay. I said at first glance. The romance part is barely touched here, this is a story about spousal abuse and finding comfort through other places. And I should also mention that it actually had me hoping the abusive character would turn around for the better, instead of wishing he would die. That's something I don't say often. Give it a chance :>

Also, "Pinkie pie watches paint dry" is another masterpiece, and it's really deep and interesting.

What do I do when I'm not making ze muzics? The real question is when do I actually make music...

Anyways, I work a typical 9-5ish job...so there's that. When I'm not working I'm usually playing vidja games on Steam (picked TF2 back up recently) or 360 (need to play through "Harley's Revenge" DLC still). I also recently started trying to get myself back into shape. Throw in some random goofing off online and you pretty much have a "day in the life" of me.
