What's your fav bpm/tempo?

Boredom... So what's your fav bpm? I mean we all have a sudden bpm that we all prefer to have our music in right? or do you all just put the bpm at '143.4783904706459' randomly just to piss off DJs?

But really what bpm you guys like most? I really like 128 bpm. It's really good for most house and is extremely popular in modern electro and I like that type of music so of course i like to be able to make what I like. C:

128 to 134. Doesn't mean that i don't listen to genres with higher/lower bpm, i just tend to enjoy music in that range the most. Prog house, prog trance, electro, you name it.

As a DJ that is kinda annoying.. but its worse when they automate 1bpm changes as the track progresses (starting at 129 and ending at 130).

I love 128 aswell,
128 is best bpm.

Yeah gotta be variant with music taste. I've slowly been getting into some dnb but never really tried making it myself.

It depends on the genre of course. At the moment it's either 150 or 175 for me though... No need to screw with DJ's; they're your friends. :P

I like ~130 in half-time (post-dubstep  ), but I also like working between 100 and 110... Because hip-hop.

180 ALL DAY.

Nah that's dumb.

But hardstyle is probably my favorite genre, so anywhere between 150-170 for me.

I've done that plenty of times when random people call me on skype just because they want many people in a call. Then I just enable my mixsoundcard so they can hear everything I do in my DAW put bpm to max and put as many mixer plugins on random percussion as I can and play it on full gain.

140, but that's when I work on WAVEs and don't give two shits about the tempo.

Other than that, it can be anything, because after I compose it, I rape the shit out of it to make it seem 60 or 30 or 1.

Thirding 140 (well, 134-144, I guess :P). I'm not a huge dubstep fan (and in fact, confining a whole genre to one tempo range has always seemed a bit silly to me), but I do like what some artists are able to do in such limitations.

I also love 140 for the more traditional drumbeats you can create with it. This one in particular sounds great - it's having the kick on the semiquaver before the snares that makes it really cool.
