Theoretically, the 1 millionth key on a keyboard would produce a frequency of 1.7669x10^25087 Hz, which, if actually produced at a normal loudness, would literally rip apart the electrons from their atoms and reduce matter into elementary particles and pure energy... you have very dangerous keyboard Facade, very dangerous.

At even 140 physical decibels it would literally be so loud that there wouldn't actually be recognizable sound it would just turn into area's of super compressed air and complete vacuums, 1 million dB would be a physical impossibility and would be more of a world-ending shockwave than a sound.

key six billion would produce a frequency of 1.762939 x 10^150514999 Hz I don't even know what would happen at that frequency but I'm p sure it would break something important like the fabric of time and space

I can't WAIT until Christmas... I will definitely have updates in this thread afterwards. I'm getting ATH-M50s, some KRK Rokit 5s (g3 is actually really good) and a Scarlett 2i2 audio interface. Mmmmmmmmmlawdy.

And I might spend some more money to get blue Christmas lights and hide them all under my desk so it glows O3O

Will add my Reloop BeatMix to it after Christmas break.
I don't use it at home anyways. Not enough at least :P (no room, yanno)

I've been told that the mixer's gonna be replaced by a better thing.

Just upgraded. New monitors. It's so pretty.
I really recommend these 3rd gen Rokits, they sound fantastic for the price (it's too bad I couldn't afford a pair of Genelecs... lol)
And I'm getting some monitor isolation pads and a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 for christmas from my mom, and some ATH-M50s from my dad. Life is good right now. These monitors were just an early present to myself, I suppose.

EDIT: It would seem that I don't know how to spoiler images. Help me pls.

[spoiler] [img] [slashimg] [slashspoiler] Though seriously, unless the image is longer then perhaps 1080pixels wide, I don't think it should really be that big of a deal to post it without a spoiler thing.

Also, you're a lucky little fucker. All I asked my parents for on Christmas is some steam gift cards and they said they don't want to get me those because I didn't sign up for forensics at school and my dad doesn't really like steam all that much.

For the price, they're some of the best headphones you'll find. Although considering something a bit more pricier may be extremely beneficial. Something like AKG Q 701's, for twice the price. But ~$120 USD is the absolute lowest that would be recommended for mixing headphones. According to people with a lot of experience, at least. If the ath-m50's are the only headphones in your price range and you can't wait any longer, grab them.

That reminds me of that one guy that when asked to tour his studio toured his kitchen as a joke. Too lazy to pull the video, but I was laughing the whole time. Pots and pans are great hardware, rubbermaid containers are pretty good software-wise, and a couple posters of MLK Jr. and Gandhi make for some powerful speakers.

Been to my uncle's studio. Got to hear some of his projects (holy shit that was good), learn some about stereo fields, out-phasing, and a little on mixing/mastering, and recorded five soundscapes with him (he's working on a soundmod for a game), using this:
Spoiler studio:

(Those two monitors, they contain some wack-ass dangerous acid junk. If one of them breaks, the room has to be evacuated. The fuck?)
Image

His Theremin:
Image

We've used the Juno-60, JP-8000 and Theremin (actually I have, he did the recording and effects in Pro Tools). We tried to get his Voyager running too, but it dun goofed. Meh.

That was possibly the most fun I've had in a while. And god, I swear, the Theremin was tiring xD so much fun.
And next to that, the soundscapes sound fucking great! He's gonna process them more, and make more by himself, sure, but we created this and it sounds awesome!

ExoBassTix, that looks like a badass studio!
My workplace looks a bit weak compared to that, lol

This is how my "studio" looks like from my PoV

I have a NI Maschine sampler/drummachine to my left as well, and a couple of nice guitars and amps to the right.
