Yup, The INTEL ISEF in Phoenix, Arizona. I went last year in Pittsburgh and it was awesome.

No, but Australia sends representatives so if I meet anyone from Melbourne I'll just tell them to say hi to you (because everyone in your city knows you, of course)

I just bought a computer monitor from somebody locally :D It's 23 inches, which is HUGE. Especially compared to how the biggest screen in the house so far is my 25 inch tv I got for my birthday (which is tube screen, so it's twice as big, but only gets about 480p at best, maybe 360p). It has 1920x1080 resolution, 3000:1 dynamic 1000:1 typical contrast ratio, it's so awesome. 16:9 contrast ratio, I think. Either way, super psyched, and I can't wait to get the rest of the computer to plug it in and play games and watch videogames and stuff and masturbate to porn as well

Ordered computer parts and got a desk. To make things even better, I rearranged my entire bedroom so that I could fit the desk in with no problems. The whole room is more clean, everything is arranged, and I'm really loving it. I also set up the beginnings of my studio, which right now is just my desk, keyboard, and mic. But once I get everything else, it's going to be so awesome!

Alright, well part of my order got cancelled from one of the online stores, so I'm going to have to reorder by entering different information that may be more correct. But strongly overshadowing that is that I just sold my xbox 360 an few hours after putting the add up for it. Like, in between 3 and 4 hours after putting it up. I'm now a bit richer, and will keep the money until I get paid for helping a friend out with insulating his garage, and then buy materials to make acoustic panels. Only thing that will be missing from my home studio is the monitors!

Got a hi-def tv this week, a new entertainment center, and a blue ray playerr. Was able to browse on blue ray player to youtube and play my tracks and pmv's on my hi-def tv full screen. Surreal. Also found out that netflix online has all 3 seasons of MLP for instant stream in hi-def.

Omg yes, when I found pone on netflix, I nearly shat myself with joy.

And yes, I am finally upgrading from a 2 octave keyboard to a 5 octave one. Yay for finally being able to play chords and melodies simultaneously.

2 things.
1) I'll have some paid work these holidays and potentially onward
2) I've finally come to grasp the basics of how hardstyle kicks work. After...a few..months >.>

On one hand, I got declined from most of the colleges I applied to.

On the other hand, I'm now sure I'm going to Chico. Brace yourself, Kyoga XP

I got back from vacation in Singapore (good news because I got to go to Singapore and because I managed to get out. That city creeps me out) and school's almost out (seniors are let off like a month and a half). So right now my life is looking good.

I feel much better now. I'm the kind of person who holds onto things, whatever stresses me out or makes me mad sticks with me pretty much constantly. So about 20-ish minutes ago I kinda lost it. I ended up pacing incessantly around my house and generally freaking the fuck out over everything. By the time I got to the veranda, I made my only clear decision of my afternoon. I got mad, like I was about to kill someone with whatever was next to me and just screamed. No words, just a guttural "RAAAGH" type thing. The minute I did that I regained my clarity, started taking some deep breaths and felt much better.

This is easily the best I've felt in weeks.

The RAM, PSU and OS came in the mail today from Amazon! All I need is the harddrive and cpu, which should be in the mail with 3 fans some time soon (NCIX was being a butt and needed one of our bank's phone numbers. We couldn't figure out which one so we had to reorder, and reorder, and now we've sent them a little paragraph explaining the problem and hopefully my dad included all the numbers from the back of his credit card and can get it all sorted out). I've also connected my netbook to my 23 inch monitor. Unfortunately the monitor will only go to 1440x900 resolution because the videocard on the netbook is a piece of crap (here's my monitor, and until evidence is presented to prove that my netbook isn't the problem, I'm standing on my case), but I'm glad to be using such a large monitor and stuff. Although when I get my actual videocard on my computer hooked up, the monitor will look much nicer.

I had a really awesome day today.

For the first time in months I was able to hang out in my little trio of friends. It's kind of a simple thing, but god damn did I need it. Talking to people over Facebook is only good enough for so long, ya know?

I had my best Dugeon Crawl Stone Soup character yet! Sure I still died without getting one rune, but I did better than normal.

(Yeah, my current standard for good news is pretty low)

Nice :3

I'm doing really fucking well with a song I'm working on. Imagine General Mumble's "From Limbo to Judecca" but slightly happier, mixed with the intro track to a post-apocalyptic movie, made into a house track. It's good :3
