It's just "g"

like in ep. 29, when twilight imagines herself in kindergarten

G is typically understood as gangster here, yes.

But no, this is g

g = g

Hey everybody. I'm 2clop. I've never used that name before, and likely I won't in the future either.
I've been playing music for a few years now. I started off playing classical guitar but branched off after a couple of years. I've been in a couple of bands, nothing too serious, gigs really aren't my thing. I mostly settled on folk music. I also play tin whistle, piano, and harmonica with varying degrees of competency. I've done vocals before, but never well. And I used to make a few hip hop beats because that was the only thing people in my region cared about.
Moved to a new apartment recently, unfortunately don't have the room for too many instruments (so no keyboard) and I don't want to irritate my neighbors and roommates (so no tin whistle or electric guitar). I have my classical guitar, but I don't have the time to do it justice. This all led me to trying to make music on a computer again.
As far as My Little Pony goes, I started watching around last November, sometime before Thanksgiving. I've been pretty involved in the brony community since then. The first character that really captured my imagination was Vinyl Scratch. You might say she's my muse.
I started listening to MLP remixes and music within the last few months, and it very much impressed me. Around the same time I converted a brony who could rap. He expressed interest in making some tracks with me. All of which brought me here.
This isn't my first experience with ponies and music though. I played in a screamo band (very briefly) with people who took the lifestyle way too seriously. I take the music seriously, but I don't subscribe to the belief that if I listen to metal or screamo, I have to follow the lifestyle. There were a few tensions between the other band members and me over that and a few other musical differences. Finally, on a whim I painted my cheap electric guitar white with pink polka dots and included a sticker of a G3 or 3.5 pony, one of the hideously unnatural looking ones. My bandmates didn't think that was too terribly hardcore of me, so I got the boot. But the laugh's on them. There's nothing more metal than ponies.

^ This guy's got the right idea! If I was in a screamo/hardcore band, I'd do the metalest thing of all and perform with all sorts of things that are as stereotypically un-screamo as you can get.

Welcome to MLR! =D

Well, I love MLP:FiM and I'm still rather new to the music scene. I'm a Mass Communications student at one of the HBCUs in my area also getting a Minor in Music Technology. I'm in the MIDI class right now and just got the music programs about two months ago. I've had a lot of 'theory' and teaching, but barely any experience, but this fandom gave me a huge chance. ^^

Hello everypony, I'm RionZT. I have quite a few usernames I use interchangeably, such as:
RionZT
RionTarokai
Hamtaro-Kun
Biollante

And most recently, I started using "PinkieDPie"

Some stuff about me...I guess.

-I haven't been a brony that long. 5-6 weeks at the most, I believe.
-I make music on MusicShake under the alias "Biollante" (My favorite Kaiju from the Godzilla series.)
-I have a guitar and keyboard in real life, but I'm not good at playing either of them.
-I'm only sixteen years old...But I guess that doesn't really matter.
-I like to draw, make music (even though I'm not too great at it), read, and write.
-I originally liked to draw in anime/manga style (which wasn't very good either), but now I've become pretty much obsessed with drawing ponies. (Honestly no surprise to be honest!)
-My favorite pony...if you haven't guessed, is Pinkie Pie.

Oh, yes, and the MOST, MOST IMPORTANT THING!
...

I like cereal.

Thanks. I was using the IRC Chat earlier to ask what a good music-making program would be. (That's free, that is. Nomoneylol)

And I can officially say MusicShake is the only music-making program I understand. (And it isn't very good for remixing stuff...Except for other MusicShake songs...Pony music? Probably not. Original, oui.)
If you know a newbie-friendly and free to use music making program...I would greatly appreciate being informed of any such program. Thanks in advance.

I believe that FL Studio 10 has a demo version that's free. Not sure on how much you can do with the demo, though.

You can ask me as well. I use FL Studio. There are also a ton of videos on youtube to help beginners. That's how I learned.

I suppose so. Though that episode confused me. The Mane 6 beat Nightmare Moon in episode two, threw a -party- for Luna. Yet, only Twilight remembers this.
I guess an example of wrong place wrong time? Eventhoughthemane6shouldhaveremembered.
