What do you guys do to cope with long vacations without your DAWS? I'm totally going nuts after not producing music for a month ;_;

I KNOW THAT FEEL RIGHT NOW.

For me, I just listen to even more music than usual. Tying in with my post about eurobeat, I've been listening to eurobeat brony's music constantly, studying all the different intracies of the genre to get a better understanding of how to create it once I return to my DAW. It helps a tad to have something like FL Studio mobile installed on my iPad, but that thing is so unwieldy I can't use it.

It's not THAT bad, I suppose. Good for quick doodles, and it's got some awesome sounds built in. But the piano roll is a pain to use, which sort of kills half the point. I would recommend it if 20 bucks isn't that big of a deal, because it's definitely a neat program. But it's not the next big innovation in mobile music production.

That week i took in dinsyeland turned into nearly a month of total inactivity, it was really hard getting back into the rhyhtm of making music or even wanting to. I seem to go in spurts where i finish a bunch of tracks around the same time and then start a new batch rather than work on just 1 so i think finished a few right before that.
