MLR Xbox Live! (and PSN and Steam)

Sports, politics, movies, videogames, questionable hobbies, photos from your family vacation, etc. Talk about stuff that isn't ponies or music. But do try to stay on topic and respectful of alternate opinions.

Terraria's a good one, it's kind of like Minecraft only more fighting-centric.

Another good grand strategy game is the Total War series.

If you like getting very angry at your games and throwing stuff around, then Super Meat Boy is perfect for you.

Any body know which game I should get? I'm deciding between L4D2 or CS:S.

Between those two I'd say it's mostly a matter of what you want to get out of the game. If you want something highly competitive to become good at, then CS:S. If you want a game to play with friends and have some fun in a more general sense, L4D2.

I love L4D2, and some people have made really great mods for it. But yeah, if you're more into just kinda having fun playing with friends, then that's the way to go.

To be quite honest, both are shit >_> Although l4d2 is acceptable if playing with friends, but not trying to take it seriously.

CUE SOUP'S WALL OF TEXTS.

My wall of text on CS:S - http://pastebin.com/njcDb1cj

Someone else's wall of text on l4d2, where I mostly agree with what is stated - http://pastebin.com/dm0BtNqv

If anything, I would reccomend getting the original l4d, cs 1.6, Killing floor(although that's really not beginner friendly, and the combat is much deeper than it seems, due to little quirks like how multipliers works, how certain weapons can perfor certain things towards certain enemies, etc.), Red Orchestra(the original), Day of Defeat(both the original and the source version are good, so don't worry), Garry's mod(because alot of people like this one alot. I break it out every now and then).

Haha, yes, it's mostly true about L4D2, it is incredibly obnoxious and too chaotic, but I dunno. It's fun. There's also a character named Nick, so I like it.

Also, Garry's Mod FTW. Day of Defeat is another good one. Also, Age of Chivalry is good if you like tf2 (think medieval tf2).

My xbox live gamertag is "Metal Core MLP" for those who'd like to add me. I've got about 20 spots left open till my friends list is full. I've got lots of games to play, like Halo: Reach, Red Dead Redemption, GTA IV, both Left 4 Deads, Gears of War 3, and Battlefield 3. I'd love to play with some of you guys.

My steam name is Metal Core Pony. Only multiplayer games I have though are Team Fortress 2 and Portal 2. I could buy another multiplayer game, but only if you guys really really want me to.

My PSN is MoshKing666 (Yeah, I wish I could change it too)

I'm on my 360 more than anything else, simply because it's what most of my friends have, but I do still go on Steam and PSN (though PSN least of all)
