So what does everyone do when they're not making music?

Sports, politics, movies, videogames, questionable hobbies, photos from your family vacation, etc. Talk about stuff that isn't ponies or music. But do try to stay on topic and respectful of alternate opinions.

This is the first time I've seen a brony that plays WoW outside of warcraft itself. I personally play that game a bit, although quite a bit less now.

I have an 85 dk, 40 paladin, 24 priest, 28 rogue, and 44 hunter. All those characters, with the exception of the death knight, I leveled from 10-their current lvl on nothing but battlegrounds. Each one used a full set of heirloom gear, with full enchants on all possible slots. Was running 1,000+ health at lvl 10 on all the twinked out characters xD

Sometimes when I'm not making music I sit down in front of my laptop and listen to my songs while picking my beard hair out with my hand.

It's calming, really.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I haven't played WoW in almost a year now. I played for pretty steady for 2-3 years, then started taking long brakes until I eventually stopped. I played on Ravenholdt the most and had an 85 rogue and 85 mage that I raided a bit with--had a bunch of random alts. I PVE'd mostly, but I'd occasionally do BG's and arenas with my friends.
I never tried lvling through bg's, but I heard that it's crazy. Also 1k health at lvl 10 is hilarous! :P

Omg warcraft nerds! *Swoons~*

I played from the launch of the closed beta for Vanilla WoW until June 22nd of 2011. Cataclysm sucks. Bad, imo.

I was a hardcore raider until about '08, then I got really into the books and the lore, and started Roleplaying. Did that steady until I quit. I went from.... I forget my original home server now, but I was only there a year, went to Eitrigg(sp?) and then off to Wyrmrest Accord after I got serious about roleplaying. 85 Paladin, 85 Warrior, 70 (twink) Death Knight, 44 Rogue (Only surviving horde toon) Lost my druid (that used to be my main) permanently to a hacker in '07, and the only other character I gave much of a shit about was my hunter that was I think 33 when I quit? She was around there. Oh, and I did have a 19 twink priest who, back in the day of twink superiority in BC/early WOTLK, could crit heal for 800+ It made me very proud. <3

I miss my friends from WoW; but I quit in favor of Music, and I don't regret quitting, only that I dropped it cold-turkey and can't go and get their emails anymore! :(

I also miss writing a shit load of fanfiction for WoW. The action was a center point of the entire universe, and that's what I love writing.

On topic to the thread;

Think about making music. Music replaced WoW as the focal point of my entire life.

Oh, and work, so I can afford to pay for music related things. 1st year Electrician's Apprentice, whee. $10/hr, 10hrs/day, 5+day/week. Good stuff.

And sleep and eat, but I do those a lot while still making music.
10/15/2014 - I finally return to ponies? Maybe.

Actually it was more like 10/12/2015

My current SoundCloud, pony & non-pony things found here.

I have 4 EP's under this alias!

Somepony talk to me, I are the lonelies. :c

It's not too uncommon for all of the above to happen, although I havn't played it in about a year since I discovered ponies either. I just sometimes watch my dad or younger bro. But sometimes I do miss warcraft. I'll probably start playing it again between songs. Or something. Or whatever. I'm not sure. I just get so bored after I'm done producing a song because there's nothing to do =\

The most I've ever played an mmo was City of Villains. Never truly got into mmo's because the gameplay always felt terrible to me. Only reason I got into CoV and Champions Online was because of the superhero angle. Even then I didn't play that much. (I also don't like to have to pay to be able to play a game I already paid for /shrug)

...

Dangit now I went and downloaded City of Heroes again. I'll probably just muck about in it. My current addiction to silver is much stronger.

When I'm not writing music I'm either watching ponies, eating, sleeping, or internetting. I'm usually writing music. That's what I find enjoyable so I'll do it constantly.
